Network Neighbourhood Food Drive 2016

Once again, the residents and staff of New Leaf participated in the Neighbourhood Network Food Drive at Vince’s Grocery Store in Sharon, Ontario on October 15, 2016. Neighbourhood Network’s Fall Food Drive program supports local food banks between the holiday seasons. Each year, hundreds of pounds of food and thousands of dollars are raised to help feed our communities. Since 2010, $13,123.25 has been raised with the help of local organizations like New Leaf and Vince’s Grocery Store.

As the Network Neighbourhood Ambassador for East Gwillimbury, Susan Boyne-Bird inspires those in the community to help others in need. By inviting the residents of New Leaf to help with the food drive, she supports them in a very meaningful way, recognizing them as valued members of society and their community.
