Casual Employment
We currently have openings for casual positions supporting people who have developmental disabilities with day to day activities in their residential settings and day program. Scheduled hours of work can vary from a few shifts to 40 hours per week, depending on the needs of the people we support and the availability of the employee.
We are looking for people who have a Developmental Service Worker Diploma or equivalent, First Aid, CPR training and a valid driver’s license. Experience working or volunteering with individuals who have a developmental disability is preferred.
We support our residents 24 hours per day so we need staff that is available to work evenings, weekends and overnight shifts.
The rate of pay is $13.42 per hour to start with regular increases based on a wage grid.
